American Horse Council
Organized in 1969, the AHC has been promoting
and protecting the industry by communicating
with Congress, federal agencies, the
media and the industry itself on behalf
of all horse related interests each and
every day. The AHC is member supported
by individuals and organizations representing
virtually every facet of the horse world
from owners, breeders, veterinarians,
farriers, breed registries and horsemen's
associations to horse shows, race tracks,
rodeos, commercial suppliers and state
horse councils.

TWHBEA is the oldest and most prestigous

Champagne Horse Breeder's & Owners' Association
Non-profit incorporation dedicated to documenting
and registering horses with the champagne
gene, promoting knowledge of the gene,

Walking Horse Association (NWHA)
Official Website of the NWHA. Nationwide
group of Walking Horse owners, breeders,
trainers, and enthusiasts working to maintain
the standard of training and showing practices
of the Tennessee Walking Horse.

Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP)
The AAEP is the world's largest professional
association of equine veterinarians.
Its mission is to improve the health
and welfare of the horse, to further
the professional development of its members,
and to provide resources and leadership
for the benefit of the equine industry.
Animal
Welfare Council (AWC)
Supports the use of animals in recreation,
entertainment and sport. The AWC is dedicated
to advancing the responsible and humane
use of animals in these activities.
North American
Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA)
The North American Riding for the Handicapped
Association (NARHA) promotes equine facilitated
therapy and activity programs in the
United States and Canada. Today NARHA represents
a growing number of equine assisted therapies
and activities, including recreational
riding for individuals with disabilities,
hippotherapy, equine assisted psychotherapy,
driving, vaulting, competition and other
therapeutic and educational interactions
with horses. More than 30,000 individuals
with disabilities are served each year
through NARHA programs.
