"Bo" is our "ex" breeding stallion that we castrated in Dec. 2004. He is GENTLE, has THE BEST PERSONALITY on any horse EVER. He LOVES people, is easy to ride, and this summer when Bailey's Walking-After-Midnight Farm was asked to demonstrate gaited horses at the local county fair, we used Bo to "show off". See a photo of him ridden by a 12 yr old girl at this fair.
He has extraordinary front leg action and naturally "breaks" up to his knee when doing an effortless running walk.
He is not spooky, can be ridden by complete novices on trail rides that we charge $45 an hour for and is a FUN RIDE!!!! He is not "stud" like at all, on the trail or in a pasture. (We keep him with mares and geldings).
If we kept him in a stall he'd darken to a cream color with the tobiano white background. (But we don't keep most of our horses in stalls. They like it better outside and make for a more relaxed trail horse when they are turned out).
He is a rare color and threw really litup and beautiful colts that have all made superior trail horses. Several are solid colored but most are deluxe marked Spotted Saddle Horses, registered with Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Association (TWHBEA) . (They are also BIG). We have sold all but two, (see Ritchie and Casey Jones).
Besides his loving and kind disposition, he also passed his natural and show ring worthy tennessee walking horse gait on to all his offspring. He has two blue eyes. Call (540)303-0569 or email blackwidowfarm@starband.net to ask more about him or to request digital photos and moving photos of him under saddle. We have some of the best Tennessee Walking Horses and Spotted Saddle horses on the east coast and are most proud of Bo. Located in Winchester, Va.
Note: We have sent Bo to Richmond to be shown with the NWHA and Samantha Felton who runs a Girl Scout Camp and a Gaited 4H Horse Club. Stay tuned for Bo in the show ring! |
