About Black Widow Farm
Welcome to Bailey’s BlackWidow Farm. Located in the heart of Virginia’s horse county, we carefully breed, lovingly train and find forever homes for our special Tennessee Walking Horses and Spotted Saddle Horses.
These amazing gaited horses are ideal for trail and pleasure riding. With their smooth, gliding gaits that are just to die for, our Tennessee Walkers are perfect for spending hours (or even days) on the trails! In addition to their comfortable gaits, these stunning horses have puppy dog personalities and come in just about every color under the rainbow. Make a splash on the trails with your very own Palomino, Buckskin, Blue Roan, or Tobiano beauty. Our expertly-bred trail savvy horses are in high demand. Our superior breeding stock has even been exported to England.
BlackWidow Farm is operated by Col. Charles and Melissa Bailey of Wincestser, Virgina. We are avid trail riders so a walking horse that can deliver a "Glide Ride" is of utmost importance to us! (That and not being tossed into the bushes....) 
Melissa has been riding English since she was four and Charlie is a transplanted Oklahoma farm boy riding Western, but
- we have found common ground in our love for the Tennessee Walking Horse, and for each other! After 25 years service in the US ARMY, we decided to move to Tennessee, (in 1996), and then Virgina with our Tennessee Walking Horses.
We are so grateful to our creator for this opportunity
to raise quality walking horse colts and trail ride in the beautiful hills of Virginia.
